Ben Rabb

Impact Translation Fellow

Ben’s role is to facilitate the co-design and management of projects to leverage existing environmental science to deliver practical societal benefits.

He works closely with a range of academic experts at the University of Leeds and other Yorkshire universities in addition to regional partner organisations to identify how best to deliver catchment-based solutions – focusing in particular on climate change, urban resilience, flood and drought risk mitigation and water resources.

Ben previously worked as a climate change adaptation consultant and has a PhD in climate and land use impacts on groundwater flooding risk from Cardiff University, an MSc in Environmental Risks from Brunel University and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Nottingham.
