NFM Knowledge Exchange

This workshop was an opportunity for people from different catchments across Yorkshire to meet and share learning, experience and approaches to dealing with the inevitable challenges that are generated by pioneering natural flood management (NFM) schemes.

Richard Grayson, one of the academic leads on iCASP’s NFM project, was on hand to listen and is still willing to put people in touch with the expertise they might need to get answers to questions and solutions to problems. You can contact him and other NFM experts through

iCASP will now be looking more closely at ways to support a network of natural flood management practitioners as it was clear from this meeting that regular face-to-face meet-ups would be welcome as a supplement to online information.
