GBI Business Cases

Green Blue Infrastructure Business Cases

Project Summary: Designed to overcome multiple barriers to the effective valuation of GBI, this project will develop a clear, practical, and rigorous approach to GBI cost-benefit analysis that is ready for HM Treasury approval and create a network which can use every opportunity to influence HM Treasury Green Book approaches. It will identify the most effective tools to use when making a business case and test these in use at case study sites.

Project Team: At least one developer, funder, regulator, planner, tool developer, and business case writer and appraisers, as well as the main academics, should make up an impact action group.

Duration: Oct. 2018 – Mar. 2020

Outputs: Will be published in the Resources section.
