Project Summary:

Using academic expertise to develop an accessible online database that collates catchment data sources to facilitate plans for monitoring surface water quality and to show whether the data currently collected is helping to address surface water management issues. The project will inform the Environment Agency’s national Strategic Monitoring Review.

Project Team: Dr. Paul Kay, Prof. Lex Comber, Prof. Andrew Nelson and Dr. Janet Richardson – University of Leeds; The Yorkshire Derwent Catchment Partnership; Dave Barber, Environmental Monitoring Team Yorkshire Area and Duncan Fyfe, Catchment Coordinator for the Derwent – Environment Agency.
