Folasayo (‘Sayo) Ogundipe has joined the team as a Project Research Officer to support the WaterLANDS project and other iCASP initiatives.
In 2021, Sayo transitioned into the world of data science, driven by his passion for harnessing the power of data to solve complex challenges.
With almost a decade of experience in the biomedical industry, he has an MSc in AI and Data Science, a BSc in Microbiology and advanced degrees in Virology (MSc) and Business Administration (MBA).
He has used his expertise as a Data Scientist at the Leeds Institute for Data Analytics, University of Leeds, working alongside major organisations such as the Vulnerability and Policing Futures Research Centre, Connected Bradford and the World Health Organisation.
Sayo said: “My diverse academic background, combined with hands-on experience, allows me to adopt a multidisciplinary approach to data-driven solutions”.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time in nature and is an avid football enthusiast.
