iCASP impacts

We report on our impact to our funder, NERC, on an annual basis and collect data throughout the year. Impact data collection is through a range of methods including interviews with Springboard and project partners, tracking changes in processes, policies and funds.

Since the 5-year NERC-funded iCASP programme began in 2017, we’ve been busy:

We have delivered 16 projects, currently have 18 projects in progress and 6 in projects in development.

We have been working closely with 48 partners and welcomed 190 organisations to iCASP events.

There has been 19 working groups and expert panels as well as 91 presentations, news posts and blogs.

We have 5 Communities of Practice and delivered 74 workshops.

There has been £222m of funding and business case supported, £469k of funding secured and £538k of in-kind support.

We have had 28 journal publications/reports and 10 secondments, as well as 19 policy consultations and 36 rapid advice to policy-makers.

Overall, 28 brochures/factsheets and 7 user guides, models and databases have been developed.
