UKCP18 Forum

Project Summary: The project will design and deliver a UKCP18 Forum in 2019 to bring together organisations from different sectors of the regional economy which use UK climate projections in resilience planning and long-term business strategies. The event will be timed to follow the publication of the updated UK Climate Projections in November 2018 and May 2019 and will:

  • address queries from regional stakeholders about UKCP18 and its use,
  • connect organisations and individuals using UKCP18 data/products, and
  • help the Met Office identify who is using UKCP18 data/products and get feedback on their adequacy for addressing regional issues.

Project Team: Amanda Crossfield – Yorkshire Water, Professor Jason Lowe – UK Met Office, Professor Suraje Dessai – University of Leeds, Ben Rabb – iCASP Impact Translation Fellow.

Duration: Oct 2018 –

Outputs: Will be available in the Resources section of the iCASP website.
