Integrated Nitrogen Management

Project Summary: This mini project will design and run a workshop to: (i) Support Defra’s planning for supporting integrated nitrogen management (air quality, water quality, soil health) at farm scale by showcasing useful existing environmental science and facilitating dialogue between Yorkshire farmers, relevant stakeholder groups (e.g. NFU), and Defra; (ii) Co-design an iCASP project on integrated nitrogen management for Yorkshire farmers.

Project Team: Dr. Kevin Hicks – University of York, Dr. Sarah Moller – National Centre for Atmospheric Science and University of York, Professor Pippa Chapman – University of Leeds.
